Scope and information we handle

This Privacy Policy describes how Zenlava handles personal information when you visit zenlava.com, place an order, contact us, or use a privacy choice. The information we handle depends on how you use the store and which services are enabled.

Information may include:

  • Contact and identity details you provide, such as name, email address, telephone number, billing address, and shipping address.
  • Order and transaction details, such as items selected, order number, amounts, shipping details, payment status, and related records. Payment card credentials are entered through checkout and handled by Shopify and the payment provider selected for the transaction; Zenlava receives transaction and order information needed to service the purchase.
  • Communications and support details you send when asking about a product, order, return, or privacy request.
  • Device and activity information made available by your browser or device, such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, approximate connection information, pages or links requested, and security or diagnostic logs.
  • Cookie and similar-technology information described below, subject to the store's configuration, your choices, and applicable law.

Sources and purposes

We receive information directly from you when you browse, check out, complete a form, or contact us; automatically from the browser or device that connects to the store; and from Shopify and service providers that support checkout, payment processing, delivery, security, and customer support. When a Google Maps embed is displayed on our Contact page, Google receives the technical request information needed to load the map directly from your browser.

We use information to operate the store; take and fulfill orders; arrange payment and delivery; respond to questions and returns; maintain records; detect fraud and protect the site; troubleshoot and improve store operations; meet legal obligations; and, only where enabled and permitted, measure site activity or deliver and measure advertising.

Cookies and similar technologies

Shopify and store services may use cookies, pixels, local storage, or similar technologies. Their purpose depends on the feature and configuration:

  • Necessary cookies support core functions such as cart, checkout, security, and remembering a required session.
  • Preference cookies may remember choices such as language or region when those features are used.
  • Analytics cookies may measure visits or store performance if analytics tools are enabled.
  • Advertising cookies or identifiers may be used for ad measurement, remarketing, or targeted advertising only if those features are enabled.

The Shopify-managed cookie banner is configured as disabled as of this update, so you may not see an on-site cookie-choice banner. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and use Your Privacy Choices for an available privacy opt-out. Blocking necessary cookies may affect cart or checkout functions.

The Contact page theme may display an embedded Google Map. When it is displayed, Google may receive your IP address and browser/device request information as the map loads. See Google's Privacy Policy and Google Maps Additional Terms. Google Ads, Google Analytics, conversion tracking, remarketing, enhanced conversions, and personalized advertising are not represented here as active tools; those technologies would apply only if enabled for the store.

When information is disclosed

We disclose information as needed to Shopify and service providers that help operate the storefront, process checkout, payment and refunds, deliver orders, maintain security, respond to customers, or provide a feature you request. Google receives connection information when its embedded map loads. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect people or the store, or handle a business transfer. Service providers may process information for us under their applicable terms and instructions.

Some privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” broadly. If a disclosure or technology used by this store falls within one of those definitions, you may have the right to opt out. We do not state that a specific advertising or analytics tool is enabled unless this policy identifies it as active.

Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on your state of residence and whether the law applies, you may have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information and request access to or a copy of it.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information or deletion of information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Request portability of information you provided, where the law provides that right.
  • Opt out of sale, sharing, or processing for targeted advertising, where applicable.
  • Opt out of certain profiling or limit certain sensitive-information processing where a law provides that right.
  • Receive equal service and pricing for exercising a privacy right, subject to lawful exceptions.

A recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal is treated as an opt-out request for sale/sharing or targeted advertising where required by applicable law and supported by Shopify's customer-privacy settings. A browser signal generally applies to that browser or device; use the link above or contact us for other requests.

Verification, authorized agents, response time, and appeals

To protect your information, we may ask for details reasonably necessary to verify your identity and the request. We will not ask you to email a full payment-card number, CVV, password, or one-time authentication code. An authorized agent may submit a request where allowed by law; we may request proof of the agent's authority and may separately verify the consumer as required by law.

We will respond within the period required by the law that applies to your request. Many state laws provide an initial period of up to 45 calendar days and allow an extension when necessary with notice and reasons; some states set different deadlines. If we decline a request, we will explain the reason and how to appeal where applicable. We will respond to an appeal within the timeframe required by the applicable law and explain any decision. If you remain dissatisfied, you may contact the attorney general or privacy regulator identified by the law that applies to you.

Retention, security, and international processing

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including to complete transactions, provide support, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies by record and requirement; we do not promise one fixed period for all data.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Shopify is a global commerce platform, and Shopify or other service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they or their providers operate. The exact locations depend on the service and provider. Where required, applicable legal transfer safeguards are used by the responsible provider.

Children

This store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action. Additional protections may apply under laws in your location.

Contact card

This address is for business correspondence only. It is not a retail store, walk-in location, pickup point, or return address. Contact us before sending a return so we can provide the correct instructions and prepaid label.
